@@KENscarmodelfactory I know the feeling. I'm trying to build new habits around getting models built and videoing at the same time. You're doing great!
Great video, mate! Thank you for providing so much details about the medium sharpening technique. What is your advice for using Buflex? I have seen many japanese modellers use it and want to try it but I dont know which one to get. It can be bought from Amazon but its expensive so I am wary to buy the wrong one! I hope on my next trip to Japan I can get some automotive compounds. It appears that they require less work than Tamiya, GSI etc with only a single stage of polishing. I want to try SOFT99 and 3M 5982, but I also cant buy these in Australia unfortunately haha
Hi Brendan, thank you so much for commenting everytime!!!! If I can only buy in Australia I would take this (↓ ↓ ↓ ) www.1999.co.jp/eng/10470799 It's a good price and small quantities for starting!! ;) And, to be super honest I'm not sure if Soft 99 or 3M 5982 are better than Tamiya or GSI compounds😁 I sometimes use Tamiya's or GSI's, and I'm getting satisfying result. Why I'm using Soft 99 or FMC 830-P?? Because I got large capacity tubes! lol The key for polishing for me is actually using cotton swabs vertically. It works on "any" compounds.😁😁😁
@@KENscarmodelfactory Thank you, mate! Sujiborido is a great company for providing a sample pack! I will try it and hopefully become skilled enough to buy a larger quantity! This video will help me learn a lot! Haha yeh those tubes are huge! They will last you many years and many many more cars! 😂
I've really enjoyed watching your build progress on this. Really nice work! Love the details. Keep up the great work.
Thanks, Kevin!!! I'm sooo slow on building or editing videos, but I'll keep up!!
